Green Day Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
I would really like to use some of the effects used in this music video, such as the burning and dodging at the begining which makes it look older. Samuel Bayer also directed American Idit by Green Day aswell.

Chronophotographie (fragments) from DaBrainkilla on Vimeo.
This video is completely different from the mainstream video from My Chemical Romance, it uses stop motion which i would like to use within my music video. The music is the less important thing in this music video its all about the action and as there are no lyrics in the song it enables us to focus more one whats going on in the life of this person.
Video Analysis
This Video is one of my favourites, i really like how they use appeture on the camera to create a circle effect. The set is so well designed, the backdrop "The City Of Death" is very detailed and took a day to put up. The camera work is also not just simply on a tripod, the cameras are airal and move above the action to create a parade effect. The story behind the video is that the character "The Patient" is dying at a young age and remebers when he was a young boy his father took him to the city to see a parade, the band wanted this to reflect that when you die you go to the place you were most happy, however when you die theres a slight twist almost like a dream. i think that the director Samuel Bayer who has made some of the most iconic videos, really captures the bands ideas aswell as his own to create this extravagant music video. I really admire how music videos of today are more about telling a story rather than just on a stage performing to an audience with close up shots. The use of a macro lens enhances the blur effect and i really like the slow motion used within this video, its at just the right times. The band also designed the costumes themselves which i think clearly shows their individuality and the fact that they want to be different and extreme.
My Chemical Romance Behind the scenes
Behind the scenes FACINATES me, and I would love to be involved in a music video like this with a big budget surrounded by creative people.
